Chingford Photographic Society Privacy Policy

 

Chingford Photographic Society needs to collect and use information about individual members in order to administer the Club, and keep members informed about Club activities.

This data will be kept secure. The data held will not be shared with any third parties, for any reason, other than legal obligation. The only people with access to the data held will be members of the committee. The data will only be used to contact you for and on behalf of Chingford Photographic Society;-

The club member information collected is as follows:

  • Name & Title
  • Postal address
  • Email address
  • Telephone number/s
  • Date Joined
  • Membership Type
  • Membership fees paid

For club members,   Data held will be ongoing whilst membership and permission is maintained.

 

After this period any data held will be securely deleted (GDPR2018). Any person to whom we are holding data has the right to view the data at any time by request and also has the right to withdraw permission for Chingford Photographic Society to hold your data. Upon request all your data will be securely deleted from the records.

When entering our competitions;- internal, inter club and exhibitions, Chingford Photographic Society reserve the right to publish your name and title of your picture/image.

Everyone responsible for using personal data has to follow strict rules called ‘data protection principles', as defined under the Data Protection Act 2018. They must make sure the information is:
